I just want to say I liked this and that I am a bad person.

Yeah, @twitter-204091455:disqus's right, it is Rick Riodan. The one James Patterson doesn't write is Wizard & Witch or Maximum Ride or some other damn thing. Trust me, I work in a library.

@avclub-fec1b8d3fbc08f27a84e5a334d45bb5a:disqus, heck, there's concept art for the movie that was done before the book was even finished.

Nicely done. This needs way more likes.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeee…

You mean your Chevy?

I've always wanted to see some Star Trek book or comic really cut loose and show an alternate universe that's a mashup of second-draft starship and costume designs and crews made up of second-pick actors. You know, see a bloated Enterprise-D with stubby nacelles captained by John Picard or a spiky crystal DS9 with

No, no, in the 24th century, all mining is done by holograms who wield pickaxes, because for fuck's sake Voyager can you NOT be stupid for ten seconds straight?

"I love the smell of polarons in the morning."

"If that's how Janeway fought the war, I began to wonder what they really
had against Reynolds. It wasn't just insanity and murder, there was enough
of that to go around for everyone."

Hmm…well-dressed middle-aged African-American actor to play a crazy man.

Well, it would explain how he got ahold of that missing Brazilian soccer team that he stashed in his reactor core.

Well, that's kind of a tricky question to answer. This isn't really a case of one author inspiring a whole bunch of imitators, but rather a bunch of disconnected authors writing similar stories who finally found places to publish them once one guy succeeded and got the publishers interested. A lot of New Weird authors

I was disappointed that there wasn't any David Lynch in that supercut, but now that I think about it it's hard to think of a film of his where a character actually breaks through the fourth wall and actually steps outside the movie, rather than bumping into another level of movie.

I'd agree with @avclub-efcc79cfc5561550c0753c3b7cffa208:disqus. During the stage scenes, the focus was always on Hardy's performance, while the audience was barely visible. And given how the movie portrays Bronson as someone who imagines himself as an artist and performer of a sort who doesn't really acknowledge other

Okay, now I know I'm out of it, because my first thought upon seeing that article title was "oh good, Noah Taylor's getting some work."

@avclub-d116ae13554d47530ed800aef8ed5755:disqus Given how Velociraptors probably came to about chest height on an average adult male human, I can understand Speilberg wanting them scaled up for the movie. If you shot them wrong, people would be asking why Grant and co. aren't just running up to them and wringing their
