Done and Done....

The Lycoming O-235, runs on AV-Gas not Jet fuel.

I wouldn't say LSA's are the mopeds of private aircraft. Maybe the Nissan Versa tho.

I would fly the crap outa that bad boy. I've flown way more sketchy aircraft, just because they make it cheap doesn't make it less airworthy. If it's certified and I do the walk around, I'll fly it. I spent a lot of time in flight school renting the cheapest plane I could get my and on, most of my time in those days

It's flying with a US Aircorps star, US Navy written on it, and a french tail.

You're saying you have no black cats, Roman candles or screaming meemies? Come on. You don't got no ladyfingers, buzz bottles, snicker bombs... church burners, finger blasters, gut busters, zippedy-doodas, crap flappers?...You're gonna stand there, owning a fireworks stand... and say you have no whistling bungholes...

I love this series, the mix of unscripted comedy and cars is good. It would be better if the talked a little more about cars, not necessarily about the car they drive. I like those parts the best. Right now it's the best "eat lunch at the desk" show out there.

You wrong Colonel Sanders, mama says the GTR is tha best, 911's are the debil!

The answer is Gyrodyne (a type of VTOL aircraft with a helicopter like rotor system that is driven by its engine for takeoff and landing and also includes one or more conventional propellers to provide forward thrust during cruising flight.) see Fairey FB-1

What if I put forward thrust jet engines on it? It seems like its not a true helo unless the main (or mains) push it forward. ( Hat tip to any Hawk Jock by the way, "vertigo" is not only a screen name but a call sign as well)

Doesn't that mean it's not the "fastest helicopter"

Technically an auto gyro's main propeller is not powered

I would contend it's technically not a helicopter, since forward propulsion is not derived from a horizontal rotor. what do you think... Discuss.

Your wrong colonel sanders, momma says the GTR is dead sexy.

Nope, Russia only has one in service...

The US has 10 super carriers (101,000 tons) + 9 small Carriers (40,000 tons) VS China who has this 1 @ 55,000 tonne. (also the next most carriers from a country is Italy with 2)

They do aid in shortening the takeoff distance for traditional aircraft as well, it's also a design element to shorten ships. For the MiG it reduces the take off needed speed by about 70 knots.

Let it go.

correct.
