Is everyone forgetting that the *Republicans* could have passed this without a single Democrat getting on board, and didn’t? Why is anyone playing into the narrative that the Democrats were the problem.

Holocaust centers.
1. April Ryan needs a raise. I don’t know what they are paying her, but it isn’t enough to put up with this BS.
Wrong song, friend.
Ahh thank you!
I’d love to see any of these asswipes go to work with Pneumonia.
Remember when Hillary was accused of having no stamina?
I have an Indian friend named Anita. I also know some Korean-Americans named Christine, Kimberly, and Larry. What would make their names more “appropriate?”
Spoiler alert: men assaulting women in the bathroom (anyone assaulting anyone in the bathroom) is already illegal. It has absolutely nothing to do with letting trans people use the bathrooms for their intended purpose (you know, like all humans need to).
I’m a counselor at an abortion clinic in Houston. I’ll be at work helping women access abortion care while they still are able to exercise that right!
He didn’t “act dumb”, he made a choice to sexually abuse at least two co-workers. And as the Cosby cases have shown us, it can take time for people to come forward. Especially when powerful people are working hard to silence you. The settlement between him and the women also contained a stipulation that none of them…
Settling means you drop your legal pursuit of a case (legal people help me out, but I am under the impression that means no blabbing to the press afterwards); it doesn’t mean it was a rumour or gossip. Multiple women felt the need to begin a legal battle outlining their specific cases against him (not gossip, and not…
I don’t know what you stupid thing you did when you were drunk, but the allegations sound serious and not like some stupid thing everyone does when they’re intoxicated and not thinking as they should be. He apparently violently grabbed a woman when she refused to stay with him in a hotel room, tried to lock her out of…
I guess it’s just his seeming lack of remorse. He’s given no indication that he feels bad about what he’s done, nor does he seem to even grasp that he did something bad in the first place. If Affleck put out even a mediocre apology he’d be praised but he acts like it’s no big deal. There’s also the fact that a black…
Sexually harassing women is not “acting dumb.” It’s not the equivalent of drinking too much. Violence against women is not a dumb mistake some men make by accident when they’re young.
I hear you, but my feeling is — people are entitled to dislike you for bad things that you did and people are entitled to remember bad things that you did in the past and cite them as examples when making social commentary (which it seems happened here).
It’s a crap movie about a sad man. Come at me, Kenneth Lonergan.
So his argument boils down to, “Don’t take the word of a woman unless there’s hard evidence backing it and it leads to a conviction—if there’s any doubt at all, the man is always right.”
It’s rather gross he went after a college student over this. There really is a power balance between the two of them. It is unbecoming.
