Not only are Donna and April (and Anne) fleshed out, they all have very different personalities and are women of color. Parks and Rec is proof that a show can be successful and funny and have women as fully developed characters. Who would have think it?

Are you me? I was molested when I was young and it did sometimes make me question relationships with men in my life. I had a male piano teacher that 75% of the time I really liked and was my favorite intructor and then 25% of the time I was worried was going to hurt me. Even though he was very nice and never have me

My mama was super honest with me, and it didn’t really backfire. Except she told me that guys sometimes like to talk to other people about something that should be a private thing and girls get shamed for it (which is true. Guys in my school did hook up with girls, tell everyone and then the girls were labelled

Thank you. That’s another thing. People act like immigrating to the US is easy and it’s not. I’ve gotten in so many arguments with my classmates about it. My mama is a middle class German immigrant, fluent in English, married to an American citizen with two children who are also citizens and went through so much

My roommate and I don’t really watch the Bachelor, but we caught a few episodes this season and we hate him. He’s self centered and insecure.

I was very lucky to have a grandma who could afford to get me one. But do you know what was way better than the dolls? The books. They were fantastic and my mom would find them in the thrift store for me. I’m not sure how much the books would cost new, but they were great. I wouldn’t really recommend the dolls, but if

Yeah, that movie also had weird sleeping habits that should have made everything obvious.

They’re a troll. Not worth it

Troll. Don’t engage

I second that. I take iron pills. If I don’t, I actually cannot make myself get out of bed the first day of my period and I’m super weak my entire period. It’s bad. If I do take them, I can go to work and school. The cramping still hurts, but, hey, I’m used to it.

This actually surprises me because I feel like I’m a lot of my classes, the girls seem like they are better prepared (in general). Like, they do the readings and show up to class more often. So I would expect them to do better than the guys who only show up to class once a week and admit they haven’t done the reading

Thickness tends to be more important than length anyway

He’s a troll. You’re response was very nice.

I wish I had a clever response, but I’m not clever. I can only appreciate the cleverness of other people.

It’s a joke. She’s making fun of all the political rants people on the internet are going on where they act like they know what their talking about but really have no clue and make stupid claims about themselves in an effort to prove otherwise. She didn’t meet ISIS and she isn’t covered in tattoos of Venus symbols.

The poor writing is supposed to tip you off that it’s a joke. It’s a lot like the piss poor writing in actual commentaries people are writing. That, and ridiculous lines like “I met ISIS in the 90s so I know the issues”. My guess is that it isn’t really the type of humor that your not getting, your not getting it

I’m with you, but I make exceptions for kids. Especially small ones.

That reminds me of this time I booked a window seat and the person next to me asked me to trade. Um, no. Why would anyone give up a window seat for a seat in the middle?

I’m glad I’m not the only one who saw it!

$25 million for a 15 year old is a lot. In 3 years, at 18, it’s still going to be a lot. In 10 years she will be a lot better prepared for it. And her mother just inherited $50million, and I imagine she’s still going to be living with her mother in a Manhattan apartment for the next couple of years. She doesn’t really
