Are you serious right now? She just shared a story about abuse she suffered, and your response is basically #NotAllMen? Really? A little compassion for her would be nice.

I’m so sorry you had to go through that. Started for support.

Why though? You can have political disagreements with someone and still find them charming. Obama is very charming, he’s known for it. Why spend all that energy fighting it? It looked exhausting.

Yeah, she followed the cleavage or legs rule.* She showed some cleavage, but everything else was covered. What more do people want?

“Just try and name a star who could pull off hydrants today.”

What the fuck Aidan?!?!?

That's what I was thinking. Why not just take portraits of women from their tribe, and then do some interviews with them. Voilà, awareness raised and you managed not to make it all about you and offend people.

Yeah, if you see something, it's probably because you were trying to see something. And if you do see something, why is a nipple so offensive to you? I don't get these people.

Exclusive breastfeeding is only until 6 months, after that, solid foods are slowly introduced, but the mother may choose to continue breast feeding even after the child is eating solids because of bonding, convenience or the fact that breastmilk is very nutritious. http://www.who.int/features/qa/21…

Well, the mayor of Cologne basically just told women they need to cover up. So I guess in your first scenario, we close borders and STILL tell women to cover up. I need a drink.

Yeah, everything I’ve heard from that movie is that it was mediocre, but Vikander was good.

Well, you may think you looked terrible that day, but your hair was great. At least there’s that.

Plus, didn’t Charlotte have a pretty decent reason for it in the end? (It’s been forever since I watched that episode)

Oh, I don’t know whether or not I think Avery is guilty. But he did get screwed over. And everyone I talked to said his nephew had disabilities and was manipulated, so he got screwed over. And Peggy got screwed over.

So I have yet to watch, but it’s sounds like everyone got screwed over, doesn’t it?

The funny thing is that the white people who usually say that turn around and get super offended about the ‘wrong’ people playing roles. The first couple that come to mind were the people who were upset that Tom Hiddleston, a British man, was going to play Hank Williams, a Southern country star, or the British people

God, I just never really think his acting is good. I can’t buy him in any role.

There needs to be more long term changes. Yeah, Idris Elba is a great actor who deserves a nomination, but a big issue is that mainstream movies aren’t diverse enough. People of color aren’t getting hired enough behind the scenes. Projects that don’t feature white, straight middle class people don’t get enough funding

Older people are kind of tough because sometimes they do mean well, but say it wrong. My Oma used to call Asian people ‘Oriental people’ and I do think that she honestly didn’t mean it in an offensive way. She’s just 86 and originally from Britain. I just had to gently explain to her that we don’t use that word

People can be so unsympathetic. I grew up in a small town too. I hope she doesn’t get harassed by anyone. Small towns can get kind of mean and small minded. She probably didn’t come from a popular family in town, or they’re opinion would be different.
