I have always been frustrated with the flat-meets-fluffy-meets-coarse texture that drapes all around my face.

Thank you! I think I might have both. I have some where gunk will come out if I squeeze it (sorry if that's TMI) but with a lot of them only a little oil comes out. It may explain why blackhead removers never really worked for me.
