growing up in michigan and having visited the U.P., I can say that your paragraph is the most correct batch of prose I have read in my adult life.

A blind melon reference? In my funbag?

Joe Don Baker of “Mitchell” coached the bills? And he wasn’t the coach that was the most punching - est coach?

here’s a list of some of her “burns” and other stats i gleaned from her letter:

ok, i had to re-read this like 5 times. I seriously am so lost. I mean, I get they didn’t care for the texans article, but this article reads like a meth addict wrote it and gave it to someone on peyote to edit, which they did with their own poop.

i dont get how ANY of it is a burn. this person rambled on and on, failing to prove anything but the ability to have typing diarrhea.

I’ve tried to be hopeful about this season. My wife grew up in central california, loves the niners more than any other team.

I haven’t seen someone trying to make something happen so hard with an uninterested party since I took that girl to prom in my high school days.

I was talking to a friend at work about Blast Corps. I couldn’t remember the name, but I explained what and how it was played, etc. He could remember PLAYING it, but not what the name of it was.

Question: did he eat all the Frusen Glädjé

How could you get suspended 6 games for that? You made my baby fall in love with me!

About what I’d expect.

You got 2 games for that and I was suspended indefinitely for forgetting to take out the trash?

As a white person I am horribly offended at this.

I got pushback from Kings fans and others that my analysis was overly harsh. That the trade with the 76ers wasn’t actually that harmful, that given the circumstances the Kings were successful in free agency, that they took a step forward and will be on the fringes of the playoff race next season.

Why can’t I hold on to all these breadsticks?

Deadspin is pretty much the only part of the gawker “family” I frequent and I get the whole brew-ha-ha (sp?) Going on over there.

I KNEW I was doing something wrong.

in Arizona, so the column typically posts around noon-ish here.

Every week I read the funbag at work on lunch and enjoy it.
