To be fair (and to make it even jerkier in a way I suppose) I bought that box set on ebay years ago and it's actually from China. Wood box, came with a key ring and some 25th anniversary stuff in a nice wood box.

Or THESE...
A.C.E. R has mecha from a dozen series, including Macross Zero and Frontier. Voice actors and songs too.
The game is wonky on some controls but it's still VF-25 Messiah's launching misses galore.

Or these of mine..

Is this the thread where we should post pics of our Macross stuff in defiance of Harmony Gold? Cause here's what I got..

Man, reading these comments, I didn't realize how many virulently opposed to religion people frequent io9. I come here for Sci Fi tv/movie news.
I think the worst part of this article wasn't the article, but reading these comments afterwards.

Halfpipe is "garbage"?

What of the plans for the new event "get pulled by a quad, then launched off a snow ramp, doing tricks mid-air"? I sure hope the quad's straightaway is clear. Otherwise this majestic event could get cancelled.

I can't imagine the self hatred involved that exists to have any memory of that initial column.

This game seems kinda neat, but I don't think for as long as I've been using a pc (1993-4), I've never had, or wanted to spend the money on, one strong enough for gaming. I've always used it for video and photo editing, internet, etc. The fact is I've never felt I've really missed out on anything.

This is such a "meh" list of designs. I feel like some were just "same first letter, brilliant!"
Anyone could have come up with these in an afternoon.

He was in such great pain from his injury he was quoted as saying it felt like a giant dildo crushing the Sun

Witnesses say the boy clearly felt no remorse following the incident. As Beck was taken by ambulance to the hospital he passed out from the pain. Friends of the boy reported he was making derogatory comments like, "See the vegetable man in the Vegetable van with the horn that's honking."

Realistically its the coach's own fault to telling him to throw his hands in the air like he didnt care. The helmet just got in the way of him fulfilling his coach's wishes.

When asked if he thought he'd win the lawsuit, he said to reporter he would go ahead with it, even thought "baby, I'm a lost cause"

As a result of the tremendous pain he experienced when the incident occurred, witnesses report he screamed at the boy, "que onda guero?!'

He also said the kid taunted him, pointing at the injured area and then at the other leg, going "one by one, I'll knock you out"

He would have got a ambulance to the field faster, but he kept complaining how "cellphones dead, hand in my pockets".

The kid did apologize for the incident, telling Beck he had a hard time seeing where he was throwing the helmet, thanks to "the new pollution"

It's a shame to hear his career in coaching is in jeopardy from the injury. He really worked his way up in this league. Beck started in the PA, when in 2006 he brought his own 2 turntables and a microphone to hook into the speakers.

The amount seems high, but in that area of california, getting yourself looking good for court costs a decent amount. Especially if, like Beck, you've got a devil's haircut on your mind.
