Britney is from Kentwood, Louisiana, population 2000. It’s not a suburb, it’s a small backwater town. Her parents went into debt because her mother got her all that even they could not afford it. Her dad is an alcoholic.

Britney had a good voice before she became famous. I think she would have been happy having a career in the style of Toni Braxton.
