I believe the IS is sub-compact. There is more room in a Canry than an IS

it's not about being "regular". The cost does go up typically because the size of the rim and the rating of the tire since most of the cars can easily break triple digits. And there are cheap variations but they typically won't have any traction on dry/wet pavement so owners pay more to have a stable tire.

In addition, typically when car makers put a lot of power under the hood usually that means a bigger tire setup and knowing this is Roush, they usually tart up the wheels wells with meat.
