The fuel economy thing is probably what will sell a lot of trucks when electric really takes off. There’s truly no real way to get people to stop buying them without high fuel prices, or relatively high fuel prices.

Where do you live exactly? 30-40% of the vehicles on the road here in my part of ohio are fullsize trucks or truck-based SUVs and I assure you, a very small fraction of those are “worked to death”
