Interesting photo. Our company was doing some work on a climate test lab at a US Air Force base in Fort Walton, Florida earlier this year. There were four ford vehicles inside a hangar-sized building undergoing heat/cold cycling tests.

I did my very best to find a sh!t to give but, alas, I have none.

There’s a rubber drain on MGBs referred to as “Tom’s Knob.” It’s a tube about an inch in diameter, four inches long and ends in a ball or knob on the end. Supposedly it was named for the bloke that installed them on the line in Abingdon.
