To be fair, child abuse is not condoned in the bible so that definitely wasn’t on the religion. There’s a difference between a religion that encourages child sacrifice (looking at you ancient mayans) and people who are just stupid and hypocritical

I’m curious, outside of the recent mega-conservative churches who are blatantly refusing to shut down (which I attribute more to politics than religion. Republicans are two times more likely than democrats to think this is a sham.) which superstitions are dangerous and harmful to people?
