That’s fine if that’s what they’re going for, but clearly the graphics that aren’t the characters are worlds better. Based on the trailer and no prior experience with the series, I’m forced to assume that this will be a free-floating camera that you can use to explore different environments while a bunch of cardboard mutes deal with romantic issues and flail their limbs at each other.

I don’t even care anymore. They could wear hot dog costumes in 64 bit on a prerendered background. I’ve been waiting to finish this series since I bought a Dreamcast. This is closure on a grief-driven scale.
