I second this. A “home version” of the same Switch hardware would do me wonders if it’s cheaper. I don’t use public transportation nearly as much as I used to, so the portability factor of it is overkill for my purposes.

PS4, maybe. The PS4 Pro’s got the hardware to run well enough for at least another 2 years; 4K TVs only started getting more prolific last year, so the hardware ‘race’ on their end is slower than it has historically been. They won’t need new hardware so long as there’s still a market share to impress.

11 year old me is screaming his head off. Current me is cautiously optimistic. The Apes trilogy worked surprisingly well for not being so egregiously action heavy, so I’m not automatically soured. Just so long as they don’t pull an ‘Exodus’ on us (yech).
