I’m weirded out and saddened of what’s become of the Japanese gaming market. I remember the days when Famitsu numbers showed very popular games well into the hundred thousands, if not millions, rather quickly. Now we’d be lucky if Switch BotW were to break 750,000 in its lifetime.

It’s recognition dissonance. A lot of celebrities in real life look way different than they do even on talk shows.
