There’s cause for hope. I finally saw a few in person at a rather popular Toys R Us in my area. I’m sure they’re gone by now but the fact that it took 2 months for me to see them at all means they’re finally getting around.

I’m usually pretty turned off by Modern Art tributes, but I would wear the hell out of that Roy Lichtenstein Peach shirt.
Consider it part of a fad cycle. It’s in tune to the “dependable hardware paradox”: people who buy higher end hardware tend to buy them for their dependability and longevity(some brands notwithstanding).
Late to the party there, but whatever.
I think I know: you have to bring a Polaroid into the theaters and then smash it to see a Stand in the picture.
Unanimated GIFS in with tiny color tables. Would’ve been noticabley smaller files than JPEGs of the same resolution. But we’re talking Sega Genesis sprite-level quality.
Oh dear god, you just gave “It’s High Noon” a whole other terrible meaning.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I’m PRETTY certain this is a hoax/creepypasta. The dark field/halls segments are effectively impossible to render on the PSX/PSone: as in, there were no native instructions to draw that kind of scene on original PSX hardware, even if this ran on an emulator.
You sure? This one still seems easier to hold than the Duke.
Do yourself a favor and dedicate a day or two on it. I did the same thing, putting the game off for years until very recently. It’s not terribly difficult of a game and the thematics are really better absorbed as one big playthrough as opposed to a broken up chunks.
I think at this point it would actually be cheaper just to buy a real NES, an HDMI converter, and the games you WANT to play (seriously, who wants Castlevania II?). Or if you’re not offended by ROM piracy, buy an EverDrive and call it a day.
If we’re running with some of the more interesting theories out there, the Ho-Oh comes back in the last episode, where it’s revealed that Ash was actually dying from electric shock this whole time and the whole series was just a fevered dream he’s having before he crosses the brink.
Guys, don’t feed the troll. A quick glance at Jenkins’ posts and it’s clear he’s just awful (even at trolling). I got the exact same response from the same person under a different burner months ago over a topic I can’t even remember.
Definitely still out there with the disc protection, but they’ve stopped pushing Game Informer. Felt weird actually, after needing to turn down that offer for over a decade now. I guess they finally realized magazines aren’t a thing anymore?
Don’t get me started with the hair. The worst part is I’ve seen Japanese people pull off blonde well in real life. In here they managed to make real hair look like a wig, which I didn’t think was possible.
