Did you notice he also had like DOUBLE the health of his fire and electric counterparts?

Heh, no BS “helper” app for me. Don’t need to be glued even more to the screen. In one week (since the game was released), I’ve managed to get to lvl 21. I can only hope it was tourists who placed pokemon at gyms whose characters were level 30 -_-’

Thank you for that very-detailed psychoanalysis of people who picked a team based mostly on color.

This is actually a very cute pokemon in my opinion. Likely one of the best designs and concepts to come out in generations!

I was hoping for some more creative uses, but all I got were dig-pics.

Bleach was actually really good (mostly) till the end of the soul society arc. After that, as cool as the Arancar (and most character designs honestly) were, they simply lacked any depth to their character.

“what makes having a pokemon based on keys less realistic than a pokemon based on any other item like a pokeball, trash, etc.”

I tried fire emblem demo once. My god was it boring. It literally held my hand for the first bit. I won that level? How could I have possibly lost? Anyway... -_-

Which begs the question, should there be more?

For me it was expectations. There were a lot of cool and unique pokemon in the original gen, and then a few less in the following gens... My expectations (and many other’s) were far too high apparently, because many of the designs simply did not come close to the originals. And it’s not that they didn’t work, it’s a

I’m glad you’ve been mentioning myths and folklores, because yes I know and agree that many Pokemon origins are based on that.

I’m fine with fairies taking small items, they’re mythical and it’s cute in a story.

Actually, concept and design are different. The concepts of a snake-fish is iffy, but look at Gyarados. You’re not making an appropriate comparison.

Do you see any animals here on Earth shaped like beer steins? Like TVs? Like a textbook?

WHICH pokeballs though? My vague memory tells me that Kurt(?) from the Gold/Silver versions said something about these older style balls (bug ball, dawn ball, love ball, etc...) being manufactured before the regular pokeball came into existence.

You’re assuming I have no issues with voltorb!

No, I actually told the other guy that I’m glad there’s variations to the number of keys in the manga(anime?). That makes it slightly better. But it’s still a lazy design : P How can you not see that an artist was so out of ideas that he literally drew the keys on his desk. lol

I’m aware/remember that Porgygon (...sigh... and porygon2), mewtwo, are “artificial” pokemon. I’m not sure on the history of the others you mentioned.

Ok, fair enough. One character design for the game.

Freakier designs doesn’t imply impractical designs. Key-chains, chandeliers, snowcones, garbage, etc... doesn’t imply natural evolution.
