Definitely. The joke density was off the charts. So many throwaway lines and weirdly funny BB-specific moments: the bit about the burger reviews culminating with the subtle but crazy eyes; all the Sound of Music references; Tammy’s evolving but otherwise totally irrelevant hairstyle. The casualness with which Bob

Agreed. At this point, any semi-intelligent person should be completely aghast at what the GOP and Trump are doing to this country, and that’s not even a slam on Republicans, who should rightly be pissed at what’s happening in their party now. Of course John Oliver, a really smart dude, hates Trump. His bits about

If this isn’t the right time for an “It can be two things,” then I don’t know what is.

This is how you make a Nazi joke ladies and gentlemen.

His deep dives into lesser known sketchy issues are the appeal for me. When he goes after Trump with fruit so low hanging they scrape the ground, it just feels pointless.

By what metrics?

- “The whole time I pictured myself as the Julie Andrews type, but maybe I’m more like, uh...” “The Nazis?” “Oh no. Is there another villain?” I suggest Mr. Banks’ financer boss from Mary Poppins.

She’s bad at math but great at baths.

“You okay in there, honey? Is it a chance of rain? Or thunderstorms?”

I loved Bob’s acceptance that Linda was pretending to be a bathroom attendant. That’s the sign of a long and healthy relationship, right there. I also loved the payoff when Linda immediately had the cash to cover the bill.

“And that’s how you pee in a restaurant!”

A lesser show would’ve crammed in a C-story about Linda trying to keep her side gig a secret; BB has it as a throwaway aside and damned if I didn’t chortle at Bob’s complete nonchalant dismissal of it with “your mom’s pretending to be a bathroom attendant”.

“I know I’ve said this before but I really mean it this time —- let’s put leaves in our underwear!”

I got an amazon gift card for my recent birthday and ordered several books, including the “Bob’s Burgers Burger Book,” with the real recipes for Bob’s burgers. So my life just got a lot better, though probably also shorter.

Only a B+? I would totally give this one an A maybe because of how everything went down. I love how this one demontrates a Bob’s Burgers episode—an episode with great character dynamic and a new discovery in a Belcher’s personality.

I loved Linda saying that just because they were taking the younger kids on date night, she was still going to get drunk, and them sincerely saying that she is the best mom ever.

Maria Bamfort was ideal as the little girl and her creepy teddy bear!

“She’s like my grandma at a yard sale: going after our junk!”

Again, the show amazes me with its see-the-world-at-90-degrees-off dialog. Gene got in some zingers at the breakfast table. And yes, the Zeke lines were killer as they were about to face off with refugee-from-The Shining kid. You want to point to the tier 2 character who has grown the most, I give it to how the

the whole thing with tina becoming a bully felt a little “both sides” ish. Tammy had been mean or manipulative to tina from day one, to expect kindness back seems a little much. Tammy seemed like she could dish it, but not take it.
