They can have the lease go to $400k with a $50,000 purchase price afterwards. Pretty simple

If this is industry standardstandards, they need to change it. That appears to be a fairly thin plain of sand. It should be a good foot deep. It should also be at an angle to simulate drainage ditches. That’s a very common rollover scenario
If this person has a record, their prints would be on file. And there’s a good chance of that. Also, people are stupid. She could have even left her wallet in the car. No clue what you’re trying to get out of this?
I’d rather have this. I think it looks way better. That’s all personal opinion though. I also want a car that’s reliable and that means not getting a VW.
I’d rather have a car that will start dependably with some small upgrades. Also, the GTI starts at a higher price than this at top spec. Either way, they’re all still less fun than a RWD car with 15% less power
That just means its faster...
I think this car is well within the from a of what ANY auto journalist can handle. If anything, a real racer like her is gonna be fairly bored with any measily 200hp hatchback. I’d rather read her input about cars that are too much for laymen.
We’re gonna need to grow up. DCTs are better. The fun should come from performance rather than nostalgia for dead technology. If you want the feel of a clutch, glue a sponge to the carpet where the clutch would be. You can even pick how firm it is.
I really can’t imagine calling a 275hp car a halo car unless the thing is also hundreds of pounds lighter. That’s just not “gooder enough” when its too easy to get the kind of HP out of the regular car. Look at Dodge and Chevy. The ultra powerful version of their muscle cars double the HP of the lowest end car and…
15hp for the Turbo is actually a decent gain for such a small car. Obviously I haven’t driven it but it is improved.
Ikea parts aren’t that bad. Maybe Ikea made the engine and VW made all that other crap that broke?
Yup, power to weight is great for accelerating but nothing beats lightweight for cornering
1.5L isn’t really that small for 200hp. I just wouldn’t want a Ford with that much HP per liter.
Idiot in big, modern truck vs. idiot in big, modern truck isn’t different than smaller modern cars hitting one another. Much of the extra crumpling mass is mangled due to the inertia of the heavier vehicles. We need to regulate how big cars can be if you don’t ACTUALLY need a big car for your occupation. Traffic…
I should be hired on for their creative ads!!!
Its for doubling up on Uber pickups
Obviously...they only made 12 of those things and the GT is barely a decade old and almost all of them are still in good condition without restoration.
I can’t stand Ford. I own a terribly unreliable Ford Transit van for work and can’t wait for Chevy to come out with their 15 seater. That said, I’d love this more than ANY American car. At least until I see a mid-engine Vette.
You also can’t be a normal person to get these new, even if you can pay cash. Its like being able to afford to go to Harvard...you need to get accepted first
I’ll wait to buy a used mid-engine Vette for $150k. Gotta pinch those pennies
