I don’t play Ridley much either, but if you want to use the cheese strategy, the minute the battle starts, use his side-b attack (the grab and slide). Slide off the screen and then immediately let go of the enemy and it should be a ring out. Takes like 5 seconds. You just have to let go of the enemy before you ring…
