Can confirm for Chicagoland, in fact the split tops I see are Pepperidge Farm, which I’m certain is a national brand.

Also (RE: all the comments here doubting the veracity of this video), please hold the camera still!  Ugh the shaky moving-all-around qualities of this production give me a migraine, couldn’t take more than two minutes.

I mentioned this in another TSS thread, but Josh Brolin is definitely in this as well.

OMG has it been that long? I read this whole article in your soothing baritone, after hours of Snaktaku and other videos. Miss those so much, and glad you’re OK.

Speaking of The Suicide Squad, I’m certain I’m not the only one who noticed the Josh Brolin cameo (“why do I hear Thanos?”, can’t miss that voice...), but it makes me wonder what other cameos I missed?

Had two Akitas- fantastic dogs, but yes, they require extra commitment. Neither of mine became adequately socialized, so our commitment became making sure they were securely “away” (we had lots of gates) when non-family members were in the house. “So territory”.

“Make people stand outside and wait in queues”

True that. I literally get nauseous from that smell.

Speaking of Chicago, the building directly to the right of the spider is the Metropolitan Corrections Center at Clark and Van Buren. The slightly brighter orange blur is the window of the open roof where the ‘residents’ play hoops (or they did in the aughts...)

Working in various high rise buildings, around July and August ALL of the window frames on every floor would be flush with psiders just like this fellow.

David: “I have to bend the hard lines...”

Right? The guy OUTSIDE the truck had a straw hat on, while the operator- UNDER the cab- had a full brain-bucket. Utter fail by the event staff to allow it.

I’m on my 2nd Roccat Kova mouse, and can attest to their overall quality.

HP is an awful company. I’ve hated them since 1995, when I started in IT. Worked for them as a contractor in 2015/16, and now hate them even more.

“Time to get moving!!!”

I developed a pop-culturally relevant theory back in the 80s, when one of the properties involved was still only available as a text, but it intertwines the two IPs inextricably in my mind, to wit;

He does, but only referentially.

In a world where the story-writing fetish du jour is ‘slap a bunch of charismatic teens with superpowers’, it seems then no coincidence that Netflix has a truly awful show also set in Victorian London, The Irregulars.

On conclusion I reached about Zack Snyder is that he thinks he has super-special taste in ‘profound’ indie music. Could’ve save 20 minutes or so of runtime by cutting out all the deep musical interludes.
