Don't know why you're selling the Genesis short, it should definitely be in your 'enthusiast' bracket; the comfort and warranty are just gravy on top of the 'hawtness'! If I was picking from your list, that would be my choice.

I've driven in and out of Chicago on the Ike daily for 12 years now, but in reverse (in at night, out in the morning). And while the outbound traffic usually sits for a bit, I love that they resurfaced it over 18 miles each way a couple of years ago. Inbound can be lots of fun around midnight... just keep an eye…
I drove one of these, delivering for "Classic Auto Parts" of Downers Grove in early 1978. It only tried to kill me once, when it did an un-intended 180 across all four lanes of Ogden Avenue during that famously bad winter.
And under every animated "Under Construction" gif-
I'm not anti-adornment, but as you say, there's "tasteful" and there's WTF? Personally I couldn't resist this badge, as I'm certain my mother's 79 Omni had that same bit of kit, so there was a nostalgia aspect (I added the red in the lettering).
Heh, the last time was at a Chicagoland [8thCivic.com] meet; I'm lower 50's, so likely averaging 2x the age of most of the attendees (and I've definitely got 100% fewer stickers than most of them, but I still enjoy the shared enthusiasm...)
In 2010 my wife and mother-in-law went out to buy a car to replace my late father-in-law's Geo Prism. They came home with an '07 Civic Si, which is only available with a stick. On two separate occasions now when I've told the story I have been asked, "But who drove it home?"
Also forgotten, those trains (hey, if you're including the Toyboata...)
SPLOOGE!
Ooh thanks, a new episode I don't hav- err, haven't seen...
TF2 Girls, 1 Cap.
I too bought it on PS3 initially, I decided on launch day that I wanted a CE, and there was one available near me. I also didn't believe it would run on my PC at the time...
Ben Dunn.
Oh, why not just "Dickery Doc". Short, sweet, and it resonates with ludicrous (though wholly enjoyable) storytelling!
Oh, when did you last talk to him?
I've worked in IT for the last 17 years, so I certainly "get" that "app" is a popular diminution of the term "application". I can also tell you that the diminutive term "App" was never applied in the technical vernacular when referring to computer programs. It wasn't until the explosion of "mobile computing" and the…
Watched the "Consumer Preview", and the whole experience looks god-awful. It's the Apple Effect, MS is clearly trying to combat the Jobsian Declaration that the Ipad would render the PC obsolete. Totally fell into his trap, the idiots.
City of Chicago disagrees with you, and will stop and ticket any driver on a handheld phone (for about four years now).
