This game is a torture machine, both mentally and physically. I also love puzzles and am utterly visually-driven in my recreational pursuits (I'll play or watch the worst tripe if it looks really cool), and soooo wanted this game.

@azr: "Pretentious? Moi?!?"

@C0vetous: I worked for Mercedes-Benz of N.A. for 11 years, and during the "100th Anniversary of the Motor Car" year (late 80's or so, I forget exactly) all the employees received a big glossy coffee-table book detailing the company's glorious history.

Hope I win the Gold, man! SACKS!

My entry- apologies for the double-post...

Little Billy hates losing - and Kotaku!!1

Actually Owen wrote about these awesome files in Aug of '08, and I downloaded them then! More exposure is better, yes (i.e., not saying "old", or implying "s-n-d?" or anything like that, just thought they seemed familiar...)?

@SubZippo: Seriously, a'splain yourself. I'm dying to know what you have an issue with there.

@T-Rez: I actually tried it four or five times over a couple of months. And guess what?

@AndromedaHorse: OK, just out of curiosity I ask you how would that "third episode" *not* be "YET ANOTHER sequel..."?

@RawrSpoon: IANAL, but the charges are probably contextual- i.e., he used his PC "criminally" to access the Sony servers, and he "unlawfully" accessed the Sony servers and crashed them.

@David Hume: Add Gwyneth to the mix and they can do the ebony/ivory thing...

@Shoop Da Whoop: Got mine two weeks ago at Target; just went to look and, "SCORE!"

@Castrum: Ah, OK, thanks! I never realized that the retail track packs ever had songs that weren't yet available for download...

I'm curious- I just went youtubing to listen to some of the songs, and there are "Rock Band videos" of all of these songs from Sept, 09? Was this pack released already, overseas, or something?

@spiderweb1986: I imagine Steam cleaned up this last month, their sales were awesome, I picked up 4-5 games in December alone, and was gifted another out of the blue by an online pal (the 2.00$ Defense Grid offer- "Thanks Slash!"). Some of their bundles were ridiculously cheap, and everything seemed to be

@Falindrith Lanthaloran: Samey- I just bought 1000 and picked up Artisan Glow (another epic puzzler). I'm getting this as I type.

I'd just like to challenge the premise of the post, and ask the author- and the peanut gallery, too- to name some examples of truly innovative video games based on popular culture licenses.

@senselocke: Actually, the feds held numerous auctions of Madoff's possessions.
