They need to hire Ralph Gilles to pen a Cadillac version of the next generation Alpha platform CTS.

I owned a supercharged first gen MR2. This was amazing handling car with excellent steering and balance. Too often ignored.

I just want to reflect on Jonathan Ward’s comment “Hey [Toyota],” he wrote at the end of a long Instagram post. “at least let me get my hands on the last 1000 units. I’ll build you ICON Editions and show you how this should have played out.”

Materials are better than the Fords, so one could live with it. I don’t even know the tire specs, so can’t comment on pothole damage but the ride was not bad in normal mode. Not as flinty as my 1st gen Clubman S.

On road, but if I had a track nearby I might buy it because it is already set up to be competitive (and is a lot of fun to drive).  You would never regret buying it.

I had an opportunity to drive one and found it fun, but not quite fun enough to get me to buy. But I’m picky.

I own a 2011 Clubman S with the far more reliable engine (upgraded in 2011). I love this car. It’s just a wonderful driving hatchback with plenty of interior space, flinty but visceral handling, great steering feel, timeless design.

It is better looking.  Compare them in person side by side.  I love Alfas. I’ve owned 5.  And I said it was like a silent Giulia.  I didn’t say silent was better (after all, I own a 993 with a Fister Stage 3 exhaust).  This is why it’s making me reevaluate my preferences.  Drive one.

This is the exact car. I’m an Alfa fan - I’ve owned 5 that I can recall. The Model 3 is a better design in person and the interior is zen.

I’m a car guy and wondered the same thing, so I did a long test drive in a Model 3 with the performance upgrade.

I meet a lot of people in my profession who own new Cadillacs. Flyover states, high incomes, country clubs, golfers, old school. Do you want to make Cadillac a value stock and continue harvesting excess profits from this crowd, or do you want to harm Cadillac’s brand image to this crowd (likely the highest %

Please Jalopnik - have this guy write more of your car reviews.  I got halfway through it and had to go back up to check the name of the author because the review was so well written.  Please keep up the good work (and maybe review the Veloster N next...)

You can unweird the clutch by pulling out a spring with a pair of pliers. Takes 2 seconds (read up on it). It’s pretty great after that.

Amazing photos - thanks for capturing both the personalities and the machines

Halfway through this article stopped myself. “Why is this so well written.”

Question - when was the last Audi VR6 available with a manual transmission?  This remains one of my favorite engines (I’m guessing the TT).

You’re not the only one with a 911 gathering dust after buying a 124

Sorry, but having spent far too much time in a Supra.

A little background on this guy.

I have a different take. Hamilton pulled a heroic pole yesterday away from Ferrari, had a brilliant start (never a given), and drove a spectacular race despite driving what was arguably a slower car.
