This is my experience too, as a white-suburb-person. The women who are disgusted with Trump now saw him full well for who he was in 2016. The ones who voted for him didn’t care about that stuff because they were voting for fetuses, BlueLivesMatter, and tax cuts. They haven’t changed their minds on those issues in 18…

They like being racist and classist, but they don’t like being made to feel bad about it.  I guess being on the wrong side of history can do that to people.

I haven’t weighed myself in 16 years. Not since I started treatment for anorexia nervousa.  And once I successfully completed treatment, I refused to look back.  It feels fucking fantastic.  I have no idea what the number is. 

People always forget McConell (and Paul Ryan) knew about Russian interference during the election and refused to do anything about it.

Unreasonable? He’s going to kill people with his legislation - that’s not hyperbole. But profanity is “unreasonable”. I don’t know whether to laugh at that or cry.

Because we have an entirely non-democratic system that allows a minority (overwhelming white, often rural, often highly religious, often middle to upper middle class) be used as a tool by the oligarchy to terrorize and control the rest of us.

Sorry, but that is 100% wrong. They are trying to gaslight us all, and they don’t give a shit what we think. They do nothing in good faith.
