It's this mindset that hinders innovation and brings repetitiveness to this medium. I really, really hope we can move on from counting playthrough hours. Most games are littered with padding just to please this mindset, and the pacing suffers terribly. Sometimes the plot must accommodate for zig zags. It's so bad.
