Exactly! The need for range drops quickly if you can recharge quickly. Like high single digits quickly. I’d be okay with ‘limited’ range if I can add another 200 miles in 5-10 minutes.

They see masks the way their cult leader told them to see them - as a violent attack on their persons. They are told the disease is a lie. That every one who believes in either masking or Covid is worse than a Nazi.
A tale as old as time:
Yeah but you don’t understand, you see the vehicle on the left is NECESSARY to carry a mountain bike to a trailhead and park on asphalt. You wouldn’t want to try that with any vehicle under 6,000 pounds, and certainly not with 2 wheel drive.
With exceptions for corporate registrations and when vehicle exceeds certain height like today.
Not often that you have an absolute answer, but in this case, hands down, Tokyo (or any major cities in Japan). Nothing compares when combined with buses, cabs, trains, subways, and all that. They just work like a fucking magic.
Am I wrong for wanting the new straight six to be slanted?
The market, however idiotic, speaks.
There is active talk of bringing one of these systems to our city. Instead of just building out a proper underground system (they are building a grade level system currently that is choking off whole segments of the city by removing roads, as it is), they are being blinded by the vanity of the cable car.
Jesus Christ that plastic black cladding! The spirits of Pontiacs of yore are still hanging around.
I think the term “brick” is being used out of context lately. If the car was actually “bricked” then that means the whole car is no longer usable. This is not the case. It’s like saying the car is “bricked” because it has a flat tire and no spare was provided.
I was going to mention the same thing. To see that happening in front of you and not be able to do a single thing about it has got to be terrifying and traumatic.
In spite of the lack of impact (I once saw it compared to a car running over a soda can) this can be extremely traumatic psychologically for engineers. Sometimes it’s career-ending.
Kellyanne Conway will always be around to remind us of the tragic Bowling Green Massacre. Never forget!
Anyone who talks shit about Lady Camden can eat shit.
I am John from the video! Just have to say how incredibly psyched I am to be featured on Jalopnik. Couldn’t have imagined a more creative way for that to happen....
This has to be the next “growing the tent” thing in car culture, right? I’ve known enough LGBTQ people who were into cars that they really ought to have more of a presence, whether it’s Youtube channels, fan forums, blog sites like Jalopnik, and on up to even Top Gear and the big racing series like NASCAR and F1.
I think this would be a lot of fun, honestly. Which perhaps I’m a bit biased, as I enjoy drag shows quite a bit. Am actually going to see one this weekend.
Gonna be some enlightened emails sent about this. Kristen, I hope you stocked up on wine.
