Re: Passport - You’re also legally required to have identification on you at all times (or rather, police can demand it at any time), and if you don’t have it, you can be out a rather hefty fine at best
I’ve been nonstop playing Mercy every since this patch hit the PTR in the hopes that I could get her out of my system
When I tried it out on the PTR, my main thought was “This feels like pieces of Kings Row, Eichenwalde, and Junkertown smashed together”
Is it important to maintain an emergency fund once you’re relatively financially secure? i.e. good credit, decent sized index investments, etc. Seems a waste to keep several thousand lying around when I could just put it on a card or margin loan
I think there’s a sweet spot (2-6 weeks maybe?). Too short and they already have plans, or don’t want to change plans last minute. Too long, and they can’t be sure something more important won’t come up. 6+ months notice is for Weddings, Graduations, and other capital-I Important events.
When I was young, my parent tried mixing their uncooked brown and white rice together in the interest of health (we ate a lot of white rice). It was a crunchy unmitigated disaster, but they refused to throw it out in the interest of frugality, and I hated brown rice for two decades afterward.

- It’s generally at the individual staff’s discretion whether you get comped, so be nice
- They see plenty of people every day fishing for comps/discounts/whatever, they can see right through you
