Here, I just saved you a bunch of money.
good lookin car, but “131,000 miles” and the Russian connection are deal breakers for me.
“Even if we set aesthetics aside, there’s no good reason why the Model Y should have such a steeply raked rear.”
I’m getting lazier as I age. My first reaction was “I wonder how much it would cost to gut the suspension and return it to stock.”
How about the styling looks slap dash and disjointed?
WANT the car, but not at that price, so a sad-trombone CP for this one.
People get really oddly penny wise when it comes to gasoline. I have avoided lines of cars 5 and ten deep by spending an extra penny per gallon at the station across the street. People waiting and idling for 20 minutes burning more than their savings… for a total of quarter.
I totaled an 06 Chevy 4500 (Kodiak) recently for insurance. He had a 5th wheel on the back to use it for work, but had the interior done up like an Escalade. Chassis had 190k+ miles, but he’d rebuilt the engine for $15k about 40k miles ago. I couldn’t believe our market valuation came in at $45k. These trucks hold…
All that thing is missing are a set of truck nuts made from bowling balls.
Google the VIN and you find it with the stripes:
The “clean” carfax notes the decals/lettering/nameplates were changed in November of 2011. I’m sure it was all part of some routine maintenance to keep the car looking fresh.
Holy collision damage Batman!
Counterpoint: Ready Player One was fine. It was an effects laden, summer blockbuster style movie that had some heroes fighting a bad guy and (spoiler alert) winning in the end. Plus it had Hannah John-Kamen.
Speak for yourself. I, for one, am no stranger with my left hand...
2nd Generation Irish here. Live in New England. Never had a problem ordering a black and tan at a bar owned and run by a gentleman of Irish descent as well. I get the historical context of why it could be deemed offensive, but even as a descendant and Irish family that fled the island in the early 1920's for the US, I…
I’m too nostalgic for stock Japanese cars from this era. I play Forza Horizon games just to drive around in cars like this. What I’m saying is I’m exactly the kind of sucker who would pay $10k for this kind of car. I voted NP, but I already have voter’s remorse, just like I would if I actually bought a twenty-year-old…
That is either a tiny man hand, or that “key” is waaaay too hilariously, comically big. This is like what people in the 80s would think is futuristic and cool haha. Just what I wanted.. another phone-sized thing to carry that has barely more functionality than a standard key fob.
Sadly it’s a piece of art and nothing more. A gorgeous, stunning, beautiful piece of art but there are better driving, faster, more comforatable options out there, especially at that price.
