The Focus Active crossover was going to be a low volume vehicle (fewer than 50K annual sales). Fiesta is still available through 2019 and Fusion for a few more years. And Mustang. There will be more vehicles five years from now than today. Stay tuned!

There needs to be a metric for how far ahead of your vehicle the ground finally appears. Sort of a proxy for how many 6-year-olds you could line up in front of your vehicle before you actually notice you’re running over them.

I think the issue is more that it cant fit full sheets of dry wall or plywood in the bed than how much of a “loose” payload it can carry. Its a neat little truck, but it needs to be priced like a little truck and not a big one.
No, you’re right. The majority probably don’t. When you pick up your mulch in the spring, you might take 2 trips instead of 1. That may be a minor inconvenience. When you need to tow a 4500lb boat, the ridgeline can do it, but a 1500 would do it better, minor inconvenience.
Right. For 40+ k, I choose a 150/1500 every time and deal with the slightly larger vehicle and rougher ride. Same dang fuel economy anyway.
