It’s also the “we’re going to walk out of here and you’re going to look like I didn’t just hit you so hard you fell down the stairs” victim-controlling dynamic.

The most unsettling part is how quickly he turns to assisting her. Picking up her purse, attempting to put her glasses back on. It’s that sort of, “I’m so nice, why do you make me do this?” behavior. The power dynamic of abusers is absolutely chilling.

I guess will start seeing Kias crashing out of Cars and Coffee now.

1997

What a Saab story. Seats are gone, dash has a wig, a salvage title. CP all the way, even though I owned 2 Saabs.

And I’m sure that’s exactly what she was trying to say in between her Pall Mall-tainted spittle attacks.

12th man hates 13th amendment.

The seller of this 100K car says that the model year, along with the T-roof, V6/five-speed drivetrain, and lighter, less ornate bodywork makes this the most desirable edition imaginable.

I have repaired, patched, and rigged the tailgate release mechanisms of our 2 GM pickups multiple times in the last 2 years: this looks cool-whiz-bang, but a real freaking nightmare in actual use. Some uni-strut, all-thread, and a few boxes of fasteners rattling around back there

It’s going to get compacted under the load stop you won’t be able to close it or it’ll freeze shut. The tiny hinges will get frozen open or closed and now you’re dealing with even more latches.

The latches are a lubrication issue everything else is a fundamental issue with the design.

A tailgate for someone that keeps a truck bed free of any loose debri. All those crevices are perfect for woodchips and dirt etc

Growing up on a farm my first thought was “Man all those little hinge areas are going to get filled up with hay and dirt” Then again I guess that’s what the silverado is for.

Insurance companies are running for their spreadsheets

Can’t wait to see GM show an advert where they drop sharp-edge object from 3 meters into the bed like they did with the F150 aluminum bed......but I bet they won’t.

I can’t wait to haphazardly chuck my large, pointy toolboxes into this thing
