“Proper bed”

There is something about the way that front fender to the front door design that just looks hideous to my eyes. In every photo I’m thinking its like a backwards fork or something. Yuck. Never thought I’d say it but the current model is more attractive, square wheel cutouts and all.

As a former Chrysler employee and long time pentastar fan, I was hoping for an improvement.

So is that the Phantom of the Chrysler pant that haunts the production line to this day? Or is it just Old Man Johnson trying to put a stop to production thus ensuring that the plant has to close so he can buy it for cheap?

Serious question:

In Europe, would a stripped down vinyl bench seat straight six F-150 work truck from 1987 be worth 10,000 euro? That’s what this is. Its a 10,000 dollar, 27 year old base model work truck with the cheapo engine option.

Excellent sleuthing. I’m picturing you shuffling through one of those Raiders of the Lost Ark-style warehouses, pulling out box after box and then rifling through a collection of yellowing, dog-eared print outs, muttering to yourself “Where have I seen this before... where? Ah yes, 2014, May the 12th, Georgia

I found this little blurb from a 2014 Craigslist ad:

Why is it so hard for people to tuck wires away and hide from them view?It really is not that difficult. Makes the work look sloppy

Oh, that matters to normal people. Right.

Maybe this is a good price, then.

So all vehicle mpg numbers should be taken at “max” use? Trucks fully loaded and towing, cars at topspeed? Dafuq is wrong with you?

well, yeah. No engine rating is stated fully loaded or while towing.

True, trucks are intended to tow/haul. The reality of the situation is that the average truck does little of either and is mainly driven unladen. Hence the mpg’s matter. Those that regularly tow 9K+ most likely have a 250/2500 HD and won’t consider this truck. Those that regularly tow also realize their mileage will

No shit

With turbo gas engines, that is often the case. With turbo diesels, though, sometimes it goes the other way.

History is littered with terrible companies that failed hard and no one remembers. This will be no different.

That is ridiculous.

Any screen is too much screen. Give me snick-snick buttons & dials, a solid shift knob to hand, and three pedals to keep me engaged and having fun.

Can’t wait to buy one and park it next to my faraday future and Elio clowncar.

That’s too much screen.

And at some point this year the Lincoln MKX is going to become the Nautilis:
