I’ll hang onto the memories of 2017-19 where I was playing it daily. Every decision made onto OW2 only fortifies I made the right decision to uninstall it.

Makes sense if they’re speedrunning the death of this game
The world could probably use the late Amy Winehouse more than it needs Elon Musk.
To be honest, if I had to deal with Elon, I’d feel internal pressure to do drugs too
I’ve watched enough episodes of Mayday: Air Crash Investigation (all of them I think) to know the little things seem to matter quite a lot... and a scary number of airlines seem to be ok letting them slide...
Just a single wrongly-sized bolt/truss plate (of probably 1000s) on that Minnesota highway bridge, yet that weakness was largely what brought it down. Weird how bolts/supports meant to function flawlessly only when interlocked suddenly can go to shit when unlocked. Yeah, only a few bolts broken of 119, but what if…

I got new bindings for my snowboard. New screws with a dab of factory loctite blue. They started loosening up after a couple weekends, catastrophic if your binding comes off. Pulled them all off and put a big dab of fresh Loctite Blue on all of them. Tightened them up again.
If they’re letting just a few screws slide on airplane inspections, who knows what else is being overlooked or allowed to slide?

Crude oil is a witches’ brew of nastiness. I don’t doubt that some of the compounds in it will cause chemical burns.
My top take away is that crude will injure bare flesh by singeing it. Having never worked with the stuff, it was news to me. I assumed it would be bad for you in a cancer-y type way, but not burn you.
I hope everyone’s top take away from this is that you shouldn’t drive in conditions when you can’t see anything.
Yes, it would be nice if everyone was immune to distraction and had calibrated limbs that could perfectly balance braking, steering and throttle in emergency situations.
Riding in the back of a airport town car with my wife and 5yo returning home from a Euro trip. Guy was rude upon pick up, smelled and unkempt. Gave me crap about belting my daughter into her car seat. The drive home is 20-25 min and mostly a localish road 3 lanes each way with lots of traffic lights. Its dark and…
