It wasn’t designed after a Lotus it WAS a lotus with the ICE powertrain ripped out and an EV one put in it, though there were a few other changes.

It wasn’t the touchscreen Tesla popularized; rather, it was the all-in approach of putting almost every control interface for HVAC, ICE, etc. into the touchscreen that they popularized.

i posted mine beofre i read all the comments - but i also posted about how a Passat turned me off of VW forever with its repair bills.

Tesla, because they ignore decades of user interaction experience in favor of a (cheaper) touchscreen that does it all. And because they “inspired” all the other manufacturers to do the same buttonless, soulless touchscreen-focused interior.

Tesla - Because Elon can go to hell. Elon aside, Teslas aren’t assembled well, and they’re ugly.

Tesla, because Elon.

Chrysler & FIAT - now a two-fer. Most were convertibles and all were less than half a car.

BMW

Volkswagen. Never again.

Tesla. Too much focus on ADAS-forward design, giant tablets, unnecessarily simple physical controls and interior design, and I don’t want to be associated with Tesla-Stans. When they first came out with the original Tesla Roadster I had a lot of hope that their designs would be Driver-focused. Damn was I disappointed

It is insane to me that the majority of visitors now use that ugly ass new Reddit.

I believe it was called, “the shitification” of the internet? Lemme check,

god I read the headline and was afraid they were getting rid of old.reddit.

god I read the headline and was afraid they were getting rid of old.reddit. Regular reddit is so fucking bad, like I literally don’t understand why it exists. But I guess it follow the standard internet pattern of taking something that is simple, elegant, and useful and changing it to something ugly and hard to use.

the mobile site works fine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i’ve never used anything else
