I’m waiting for the final words, right now they still investigating. Until then I’m not giving up on the deal I got with this phone - the best phone for about $600 I paid for, plus $100 discount when I exchange it for another one.

I still use the original version and have no overheating issues. However one time I dropped it and the next couple of days it was hot and the battery would die in 5-6 hours. Did factory reset and it solved the overheating issues. Not sure how the two related, but perhaps the “exploded” phones had some physical…
