I was always a weird kid. Quiet, anxious, always thinking I heard voices in the night or saw shadows cross my room. As I grew up, I started having — not visions, really, but maybe premonitions?

I live in Co. Wexford,Ireland near Loftus Hall, once billed as the most haunted house in Ireland. Which is saying summat. It’s been sold and being renovated as a golf resort now-we’ll see how that goes. For years it was a tourist attraction with “let us scare you” actors doing tours. Most of that was BS. But if you

These are all sleep paralysis stories that happened at different times in my life. I am religious, which will help you understand my reaction in the third story.

The House

as a kid, I lived in a row of mill workers cottages. They went back to the beginnings of the industrial age, so they were about 200 years old. There were several odd things that happened during the time we lived there, but the worst was our next door neighbour. The first time I met him, I was about three years old, too

Not sure why but I get 80% more annoyed when someone has inserted a title at the top of their story lol. When did we all start doing this? You don't need to title your 'true' story

I too have heard a man’s voice yell “HEY” at me when no one was there! It was in a previous apartment in SF. It used to startle me awake, so it could have been dreams, but it happened more than once, and the same thing, just a “HEY!”

Please delete your creative writing attempt. This is not the place.

Very scary. Every teenager should read your story. But, yes, also very weird.. I can only think that maybe he realised he’d been seen by someone he knew whilst loading up your bike so the game was off? Or maybe when he realised you were expected somewhere, rather than being a ‘free agent’ that wouldn’t be missed for

When I hooked up with my first pop musician bf in the late 80's, we had an idyllic time in San Ferisco. The city was pristine, we were super-young, the album was brilliant. The next visit, though, was odd. Rented a room in a boutique hotel which immediately seemed creepy, but we hit the hay, drugs or alcohol not

I posted this a few years ago but here it is again. Not a winner but weird. I also want to preface this by saying I don’t really know if I believe in ghosts, I guess no one knows for sure. But I do know that energy is in motion around us. And maybe sometimes something happens that leaves energy behind. Idk.

What a great story and, even with the difficult medical decisions ahead, wonderful that your ancestors were looking out for you. I’ve always wanted to try meditation and talking to my ancestors, but there is so much pain, trauma, and death in my family (both my grandmother and great grandmother were married 3 times

In Plainfield, a crowd is too big the instant it contains a Black person. I assume that's what happened here.

Not a scary story but it happened this week and feels like someone was looking out for me.

Oh man, I thought I included! Hope this works:

The Window

Midnight Movers

The house I lived in from age 8-18 was 100% haunted.
The house was two stories – built into the side of a hill. My room was upstairs in the old part of the house (it was about 50 years old when we moved in) and my parents were downstairs in the added-on part of the house – the add-on jutted out over the hill incline

A Woman Scorned Will Haunt You

I know people won’t believe me, in fact, for a long time I didn’t believe any of this until I began experiencing supernatural things myself. Basically, my family has a decades long, generations long feud, an inter-familial feud. One of the daughters of my maternal grandmother practices dark witchcraft, the kind where
