My dad had a similar tube over the shifter in his ancient old Bronco when I was a kid- after a few bruises to his right leg from it bashing into him while off-roading the hills near where this particular Jeep lives in northern Colorado, he put foam insulation around it. Looked stupid, for sure, but made him a lot

Can’t explain why it’s there though - maybe the shifter has loose bushings and as a result hits the dash, thus foam to protect the dash paint?

Looks like the tube was slipped over the gearshift. It actually kinda looks like foam pipe insulation. Can’t explain why it’s there though - maybe the shifter has loose bushings and as a result hits the dash, thus foam to protect the dash paint?

I’m pretty sure DFW airport in Dallas has been doing this for years already. You have to take a ticket or scan to even enter the property then pay when you leave.

Oh boy is it my time to shine. My parents bought an Uplander in 2005 and still have it to this day. It gets driven pretty often too. I grew up in the thing the so here’s my review:

I worked at a Chevy dealership when these were new. After the first year or two, we didn’t have more than 2 or 3 on the lot at any time, which dropped to zero for probably 2007-09. They were trash to drive, too. Mush and bland.

I also have eight other children. 19, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 3, and 2 months. It really does get easier, you just haven’t had enough practice. You can’t master anything in three years.

BTW, the “Show more comments” button thing is really not working so well and just ruining the ability to scroll through the comments seciton.

It’s usually for a week, and up to a weekend. More, if we get special permission or something. There aren’t any requirements about where we have to go or what we have to do with it, but usually we have to give some semblance of a story idea. I’ll give you an example – I just requested a new 2017 Volvo S60 Polestar. I

Usually it’s a week-long loan here. There’s no requirements for things to do or places to go unless you’re at some sort of event. If you want to do something like take it off-road or on track, you usually have to get the manufacturer’s OK first. Some have maximum mile caps. The manufacturers can’t tell us what or when

Said Focus, meant Mustang. Sorry, I haven’t had my cars and coffee yet, or eaten any crowds of people this morning.

PUSSY COW...PUSSY COW...PUSSY COOOW!!!!

How is that an improvement over a traditional column shifter? Like This.

Heck no, these dopes just say stuff like that, and that the BRZ needs a turbo, wagon this, and shooting brake that.

It is the ads for the autonomous braking cars that get to me. They are like, “Whoa, I wasn’t paying any attention at all to my driving, but it’s ok because my car is smarter and more aware than I am”. There has to be a better way to sell this tech to people.

That fiesta in the background... Anyone else notice it? A fiesta bodyshell usually wouldn’t be anything to write home about, except it had a huge NACA duct on the size. Like, friggin massive. Is it going to be mid-engined? Or am I the only one who was looking at somewhere other than the stang?
