well said. for some reason i can't quite put my finger on, Parenthood does manipulative and maudlin in a way that just….works, like almost nothing else.

since that's not even remotely what i am doing i am not worried.
and you have a lot more faith in cops than any reasonable person should when it comes to rape cases. you also have no idea what i do and don't know about rape and the number of women who lie about it.

Statistically, the chances are that Cosby is a rapist but that like most people in power he was allowed to get away with it. I am glad someone called him on it.

women almost never lie about rape. in actuality, rape is way, way underreported. so the chances that someone lied about being raped by Cosby—much less the chances that multiple women lied about it—are very, very slim.

but for lots of women it is. there's tons of evidence showing the dominant emotion many/most women feel post abortion is relief. not exactly a traumatic emotion.

good for him. I love the Cosby Show, but I can't watch it the same way anymore. I am sure Cosby is a rapist. I make a point to believe the victim, since woman almost never lie about rape.
