I agree. I just think that it does women a disservice to refer to abortion as traumatic. It is for a few people, I'm sure, but the various studies show that the vast majority of people, including those with conflicting religious beliefs, feel mostly relief.
Yes, there is healing time, but much less than, say, birth,

just to clarify:abortion is NOT a trauma. the stats show very clearly that the reaction most women have after an abortion is relief. it is not a trauma. and physically, first term abortion is a five minute procedure that is les risky than having your tonsils out.

i thought New Girl was set in NYC. So.

Yes, it did resemble a BodyWorks exhibit. That was an amazing exhibit.

the baby-sitter's club! i will do that one for y'all.

i fucking loved these books and would probably still read them.

Rowan, I love you. Come over for pizza and binge watching anytime.

love Terriers, love VM a bit more especially the first season, can take or leave Buffy. Terriers and VM have a lot more in common (and actually a crossover would be great…)

i agree with you in a lot of ways. but also i really do not, because it turns out i am happy to ignore any of the movie's failings for the chance to spend another couple of hours with some of my all time favorite characters.

well, it was made by a child molester, sooooo.

anyone know if it is possible to watch this on the interwebz?

if you actually watch the film, read the books, and do some research, you will learn that actually, the way in the whales are treated likely had a very large impact on their future behavior.

"HOW DID YOU HURT YOUR HAND?"

dude, you forgot so many of the classics. there's a great book about how the nancy drew books were written, and of course the best example is the babysitter's club, which are fairly bad in the first place and each ghostwriters have some very amusing tics.

Aubrey. Still scares the shit out of me.

Aubrey. Still scares the shit out of me.

this is fantastic. thanks for sharing it.

also becoming president against unbelievable amounts of racist vitriol, some directed at your children, is a total snap. i'm doing it tomorrow.

okay…

not even kidding, i find this totally awful. way more upset about it than i should be.
