Buffy has got highs, but its thematically I think its a lot weaker. It has growing up as a theme, whereas Angel is the struggle of being a grown-up, and facing reality, the nature of power and corruption, all neatly summed up in a finale. Had Buffy ended at either season 3 or five it probably wouldn't have run out of

It was probably a mix of both. He was disillusioned when Warren killed the girl, and probably started looked for opportunities to break, and took it when he realized Warren was going to drop him in it.

The bit where he and Angel have their fight on top of the monster tub, and he impales Angel with a sword rather than decapitate him just sums up Lindsey for me. He has talents but always squanders them.

Connor and Dawn both start out awful and finish as tolerable.

The first half of season six (up to Tabula Rasa) is some of Buffy's best, but afterwards it gets a little unpleasant.

It's got some great titles, and has backwards compatibility with the DS so you can fall back on those.

On the finishing act of Fire Emblem Blazing Sword; I've just got the shopping spree side mission and the final few chapters to compete.

Impressive piece of hardware.

The best part is that Eliwood wields it with a similar style to his rapier, and chucks what is basically Guts sword from Berserk in the air and catches it.

I was more thinking of revenge.

Well, to be fair they do ask you to make a lot of assumptions. I didn't realize it was a con till it was over.

That was beautiful. You make the worlds sound almost as if they were living breathing organisms. I'll have to give Elite : Dangerous a try (it's been getting rave reviews).

I love all the Blazblue character designs, as much for their baroque sensibilities as anything else.

Whenever a general crits I always think "Giga, drilll breakaaa"…

I saw the original "clean my boots" scene in sprite form once despite having never played FFVI. It's amazing how scary he seemed even then.

What really impressed me was the attention to detail, like how Yarne's hair stripe changes on the map depending on what its colour is. So clever.

Planets and worlds would be great. I've just finished chuggaconroy's LP of Xenoblade chronicles and that had some fantastic world design.

They are great (but I have not really payed any other Mega man games much to my shame). They're great though, with great speed and they really encourage always getting better with their point scoring system (and ridiculous difficulty curves).

And Ninain's dances! and Lyn/Swordmaster criticals, and assassin lethalities, and everything Pent or promoted Oswin does, and Eliwood's supersword attacks with Durandal.

Did you try the Zero series?
