You'd think Sephiroth would stop with the super-long katanas after that happened. I mean, he has magic now, what's the use of that thing except exposing yourself to Aristotelian humiliation?

Mostly I just liked the weird yet sweet nature of some of the CT endings. (It's the only one I've played I must confess).
If you power through it with no random encounters its much better. I want to say more but I don't want to give spoilers… but my advice is when you just want to go somewhere turn em off and power through.
For the record, the ending or 75% through? Because the actual ending is great, but I can understand why someone might be turned off by having to do "that section" repeatedly.
Heh, in Blazblue Calamity Trigger every story mode either ended with half the cast biting it or Taokaka setting up her future power Rangers career. Ah, how we all miss time loops.
Maybe, but what annoys me is that you can count the good High Elves in Skyrim on one hand. I really wish you could have joined the Thalmor in some capacity so they wouldn't be so super-evil in the world of grey that TES is.
It may not be the right place but it is a great comment.
Cutscenes are actually better for games like Starcraft and strategy games since you only have little men trying to act out the story and cutscenes are necessary (and a little reward after a difficult level or a terrifying set up to a boss).
You think that's bad? In Fire Emblem 7, the motivations of the main villain are never revealed unless you
Sephiroth was more style than substance, but it was some damn fine style and along with Spike from Cowboy Bebop and Griffith from Berserk basically started the whole whitehaired sociopathic swordsman routine.
Nooo, not the voices! I loved the voices! But I watch too much anime.
Ahh, good times. Even if the Valkyrie never really suited me.
How far are you into that most Fashionablaaahh of games?
I've never played either, but I did a ot of research last year (long story)
That's good to know. I stil think that the changing of POV should be done in every Fire Emblem. I know a lot of people complain about Lyn's Mode but I think that it sets up the level where you first visit Caelin in Eliwood's/Hector's story fantastically.
From what I've seen of Radiant Dawn, I kinda don't like how the support system works and I know that a lot of people hate Micaih, so I didn't think that one would be good to start out with (with out even getting into the fact that it's a direct sequel to POR).
Tough question! This one and Awakening are the only ones I've played. This one is the more stripped down traditional Fire Emblem experiences, and Awakening just throws basically every idea in the series at your head. I've heard the former described as a tin of tuna prepared by a gourmet chef (since it is extremely…
Trying to replay Fire Emblem (also known as Fire Emblem 7, Fire Emblem GBA, Fire Emblem Rekka no Ken, Fire Emblem Blazing Sword and Fire Emblem the one with Hector). I'm getting much better level ups this time around, and I've just beaten chapter 20 of Hector's story, Dragon's Gate, which means that I'm about halfway…
Or where the first quest is beating the royal body guard and the last quest a massive army of bandits?
The reviewer reminds us all of the recent A-Z list, rather than letting it fade into the obscurity it deserves. Sigh.
