What was I doing again? Oh never mind. I'll just give this one to Mike, he said he wanted a level you had to go to again and again and this one's as good as any.

Spoilers and Such, Ye Be Warned

Korra did nearly start a war, trying to circumvent democratic institutions like those of President Raiko in the process.

True. It would have been nice to see Kuvira conquer areas that we recognized from ATLA; for example, Omashu, or Kyoshi Island, just to see if they had changed at all.

Hmm.

Sorry about the strawman, thing, bit rude of me. But I cannot accept that less government and taxes = less free. It just never happens, we just end up slaves of non-governmental institutions. Sometimes the government needs to step in and make sure we're free.

Fair enough.

That was a bit mean of me sorry.

There was subtext I guess, but you had to dig deep to find it. Or just dig very shallow on an internet forum in the last few months and hit all the people banging on about it.

I never said anything about that at all! I would be fine if the relationship had as much effort put in as, say, Bopal, or even Jainora. One dream sequence hinting at it and I would have been totally fine. With this, I'm just mostly fine.

Calling it a "Nickelodeon Children's Cartoon" is doing the show a serious disservice. Besides, the main problem is that they didn't go all the way and lay enough foundation for the relationship. If you think that distribution will mess you up, you either say "Screw it!" and make a gamble, or you just don't do it.

I sort of agree with some of your points but I think you're being a little cynical.

I care more about Korra herself and her struggles than any of her relationships. In fact, I can barely think of any of the romantic relationships in the franchise being really good. I thought Kataang wasn't brilliant either.

She uses fire multiple times in the cockpit fight with Kuvira before the mech topples over. She uses it to ascend and in conjunction with airbending to immediately incapacitate the guards, and uses it multiple times as a projectile.

I guess there was some sort of level designer strike nobody told us about.

In this case it does feel a bit like pandering. I mean, they don't address it a lot. If there wasn't a super ship of them, you could conceivably think they were *just* going on a vacation.

Construction worker? Everybody who can earthbend is a construction worker of some kind. I think they could get buildings up and running a lot faster than we could.

Better to eliminate Kuvira and her entire army; all the civilians are out by this point, or at least Mako thought they would be.

Wait, is everyone who doesn't like the series suddenly bad?

WRONG!
