No, Zach Snyder has visual talents and an eye for good fight scenes. With Michael Bay, you can't even tell what's going on.

Something like that directly aimed at you could probably be grounds for firearms offenses.
Upvoted for "The Mission".
Not true, they just aren't painfully obvious about it.
Ikki was definitely the hero of "The Calling".
I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure that at the time the citizens of Hong Kong, for the most part, wished to be returned to China. The citizens of Republic City clearly do not, even those of Earth Kingdom ethnic background. Those of different extraction would likely be put in prison camps like the one Wan Too came…
Most of all, the fart jokes should have ended.
I've never seen anything the man's done but the odd episode of the West Wing, and I think that he's saying the right thing here. (For the record, he seems to simply be saying that even though it's illegal, it's immoral).
That scene was total BS since he had never before been credited with that sort of ability.
Republic City's creation was ratified by the Earth Kingdom government at the time.
You are hyping up Toph waaaay too much.
"Toph being old has nothing to do with it."
"Korra sucks. She's been getting beat up all season. Anybody can do a stealth mission but when stealth isn't going to be on the table when she finally has to fight Kuvira again. And when they finally do I'm sure Korra will magically be able to take her this time. Its just insulting….."
-Korra singlehandedly conceptualizes, executes, and nearly pulls off a plan to outmaneuver Kuvira via Bataar = "Korra is worse than ever"
But the season is trying for something different - more thought and emotion - and when you put Korra Alone down to an A- for not having a combat scene it just really ticks me off.
I think I'm going to need to watch the ep again because the tension in all the other bits blurs my memory of her speech.
Kai is in no way the best airbender apart from Tenzin. My money would be on Bumi (since his combat experience would augment his bending); Jinora also has vastly more experience.
I agree with you. He's fine in small doses but by the time we got to the Calling… just too much Meelo.
Oh, you're referring to the review. I thought you were referring to what the episode said, since all Kuvira basically said was that the territory had been stolen.
The problem is that this is a very strong season but the episodes themselves can be kind of weak in a standalone sense. Back in the ATLA days, every episode had at least one fight scene, even the crap filler ones, so you at least had something to look forward too.
