Change fireball for Knob Creek Bourbon, and Jack Daniels for more Knob Creek Bourbon, and I am on board this train.

Through the Looking Glass is wonderful, and anyone who slams it needs to re-read (or read) it.

"Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in

Dude, he's an old white guy reading a porn mag in public... Is that really the cross you want to die on?

Objectifying women/consuming material that objectifies women in a public place is, in my experience, not at all uncommon. And giving zero fucks about it always seems, to me, like an act of hostility. It's certainly nothing worthy of respect.

"I run a business. People want to work for less money, I'll pay them less money. I don't call them up and go, 'Can I give you some more?' Because that's not what you do when you run a business."

That is such a shitty way to run a company. If you pay your employees what they will take instead of what they are worth, you are a shitty boss.

Was it ever really Beck vs. Beyonce? I always saw it as common decency vs. Kanye.

It's not just that. Even if you are immunocompromised, there are better choices. Alcohol hand sanitizer, bleach based products for surfaces (yeah, I know, a lot of people don't like bleach but if you're on chemo or something using vinegar just isn't going to cut it), and lots of good old-fashioned hand washing.

Just here to flaunt my lactase-having privilege

Is your blanket soaked with milk or something?

It seems like some poor decisions made by the couple may have contributed.

I love milk. I've never had cramps, bloating or the shits from it. Have drunk skim or one percent from childhood. And I don't drink coffee, tea or alcohol so FUCK THE HATERS.

For having 7 kids, yeah?
Bad things happen, but it seemed like they did their darndest to make it worse. My dad was in the military, sometimes he moved months before we did. So that we could finish the school year. There were only two of us, kids. They don't cancel cable until he gets laid off, but have no savings?

right?? If I gave up milk WHAT WOULD I DRINK WITH MY COOKIES

Continuing to pop out kids while in such a volatile industry/situation seems like a terrible idea as well. You know things could go south at any time and can barely afford to raise the kids you already have yet you continue to have more? Just putting more and more people through the wringer of moving constantly with

Of course it exists. I'm not saying you can never lay anyone off, but you don't have to treat them like criminals or sucker punch them at a "party".

I love this series.
