I have to disagree. As a DC, I wished many prosecutors were more pragmatic. The ones that are out to get everyone are terrible for both sides.

Dude - so in the Marine Corps (where I did my defense work), we would get lots of cases that the county DA declined to prosecute. And commanders would prosecute every single one because they don’t want any heat from Congress.
