“They told me that they wouldn’t be able to pay me for the first shoot,” Gaines said, though she did stand to make royalties and earn a second shoot if “the image does well.”

It’s pretty terrible if they don’t pay you.

Reminds of the episode of Friends when Joey’s trying to get a girl’s number and she suddenly walks away.

Women: Seriously, what part of asking to/just going ahead and pulling out your dick at work seems reasonable? Is it okay if it happens after work, in a different location? Is it actually okay right there in the conference or break room or the boss’s office? What part of this are we supposed to be convinced to accept

The utter gall and audacity of this issue astounds me. The citizens of countries that Britain colonised (including mine) went there on their invitation to help re-build after WWII. They extended a blanket judgement saying that those people and their children could stay indefinitely and now want to call them illegal

as a guy who only holds up convenience stores, i’m offended that i’m getting caught up in this bank robbery witch hunt.

This shit again.

Oh yeah, that’s what I mean. The only real rules Leno abided by were 1) be in a position of power, and 2) don’t cheat on your spouse. He didn’t really care what people did with their power, because that isn’t where his audience was. But so long as you met rules 1) and 2), every sling and arrow would be nerfed. The

I read it somewhere here on Jezebel, but apparently Jimmy Fallon breaking character became kind of a problem with SNL. When he realized he could get laughs for it, he started doing it all the time. Apparently, it was particularly annoying to Tina Fey because he couldn’t ever finish a damn skit, and made everything run

It’s doubly-ironic, because the event that put Leno on top for good was asking Hugh Grant what the hell he was thinking cheating on Elizabeth Hurley, in those words.

God yeah, I normally don’t watch any Fallon stuff, but I *needed* to see Cardi B and John Mullaney have a conversation. They were delightful together, but it also served to remind me of exactly why I don’t like Fallon at all. I wish everything had been the same, but they were on Seth Meyers show together instead.

I’m not racist, Bobby. I’m just friends with people who are, and I give those racists a sympathetic, unchallenging, national platform. I don’t want to be bullied into not being me!

Now playing

Fallon did just have a great segment with Cardi B last week–oh wait, that was because his other guest did most of the interviewing.

May be true, but he knew that coming into the industry, esp. being with 1D previously. I mean, personally I’d rather sit through an interview instead of crunching a spreadsheet or flipping a burger, but that’s just me.

Good; Fallon isnt a good fit for a talk show host, and he should never live down his softball and pandering hosting of Trump.

Because he’s good and funny and also didn’t infantilise Trump* in the run up to the election.

Lol by his own admission, his career “has surely benefited”from sexism and racism but if making things more equal takes away those benefits, that’s super unfair.

The report sites sources who say “the artist is challenging to work with, declining many promotional opportunities and not touring behind his last album.” Translation: he’s a difficult dude who doesn’t do his work.

Um, it was an engagement party, not a wedding. You’d know this if you read People online over the weekend, geez Bobby.

I can’t tell if Cohen is doing this on purpose or if he really is that stupid.
