As someone who follows the Cubs, I feel like it must be really nice to root for a team that is willing to spend whatever to takes to maximize their chances of winning the World Series.

As a Cardinals fan, I am deeply, deeply saddened by this year’s trade deadline. And the past several years, for that matter.

He’s impressed the hell out of me with this, I gotta say. This run must make up for the few years of absolute suck that preceded it. If your guys’ bullpen is any good, I can’t fathom them being stopped.

My only question would be, can this be considered a Golden Era when there’s almost no gap between the previous heralded era?

Murray is an amazing player, and in any other era, he would probably be the best, but as good as he is, I just don’t think he’s on the same level as the other 3.

It really is amazing at how long these three have been at the top. I’m certain this era will be looked back on as a golden age.
