That didn’t clarify anything. :)
What specifically do you mean by it? What do you think should be owned by individuals and what should not?

“Based on not a fucking thing.”
So you don’t know. But you’re talking like you know.
Implicit bias is a bitch.
“Calling the police on, and gunning for the arrest of, three white dudes will never be a life-threatening act the same way it is for Black women and other women of color. It’s not even close. Not reasonable to pretend so.”
Thank you for writing an actual article and not just re-posting something on else on the internet with minimal commentary. You are becoming a rare breed.
This is just a tweet, and marketing the fact that they did well on crash tests. That clip was probably chosen because the marketing guys thought it looked the coolest and it was going to draw a bunch of re-tweets. I’ll bet the fishhook video didn’t make for as good a tweet. Not as “gif-able” or as dramatic. What makes…
I mean, the story says they were told multiple times the place was closed and need to leave, also that they entered a half hour after closing even. The whole situation could have been handled better and the off-duty cop didn’t need to put his hands on anyone. Although, the ladies should have listened to management…
The restaurant says they were closed, but the women say the restaurant was open because people were still dining. Anyone who’s worked service knows a closed restaurant often has people in it well beyond the official closing time, and while the public may still be inside, no one new gets to come in.
I hate to offer even the slightest defense of him, but c’mon, that’s obviously just an autocorrect error.
Her profiles of women drivers are cribbed out of a book by someone who did the research and wrote the nice stories. This was cribbed off someone who either didn’t do the research or didn’t publish it which means Ms Werth would have had to do her own research and that ain’t happening.
“Instead of an engine the electric power train goes 0-62 mph in 5.5 seconds.”
“Horton, Here’s a Poo!”
It just seems somewhat pointless and extremely esoteric. But I guess there are some people out there that care.
I am a fan of twitch, and the exposure it brings to e-sports and gaming culture, however, do we really need 1,000 word articles on the history and politics of twitch emotes? Is there really nothing out there that would be more interesting?
Agreed. Any time someone writes a piece praising something so highly, at least some small mention of the contributing source should be made out of respect at least, if not simply edification of the reader. The very first sentence could easily be construed to mean that mimics are unique to dark souls.
It’s also worth mentioning mimics don’t just mimic chests. Dark souls only has chest mimics because of game asset limitations. Mimic doors or walls are noteworthy cousins that appear in many tabletop games, not just Dungeons and Dragons.
The mimic is a unique video game monster in the Dark Souls universe.
For someone who has “played all of the Baldur’s Gate games” there’s a surprising lack of mention that Mimics aren’t a Dark Souls creation, but one of the oldest D&D monsters that video games have been straight up stealing for decades.
