Part of the looming crisis is that universities are no longer consistently stocked with satisfied professors being paid a living wage. I’m assuming you know that because you mentioned it, but here it is in a nutshell for those who might not know: The majority of instructors—almost 70%—at American universities are now…
If only he’d signed legislation to cap football coaches’ salaries instead.
It seems more than a little hypocritical a member of the political party who determined money is speech and corporations can throw as much “speech” at a politician they want is now regulating how much someone can earn from a speech.
Each year, Coke pays Rutgers over $2.5 million
in sponsorship, commission, and campus support funds.
I can testify to the truth of this—I once had anemia classified as a “preexisting condition” and my lovely insurance refused to cover a litany of blood tests I’d had to diagnose some lethargy I was experiencing. This was in 2005, and I had employer “provided” (provided I spend 10% of my check on it, anyway)…
This show is so underrated. I think people just think it’s a silly telenovela send-up with all the crazy twists and evil twin stuff, but both the writers and the actors handle the serious stuff just beautifully. It’s a gem.
Why is Trump even bothering with this shit? He could just go on Fox & Friends any morning and say, “Well, I built the wall last night, while you were sleeping, Mexico paid for it, we’re all good!” 100% of his followers would believe him (this is not hyperbole, it is an established fact) and he could just cross it off…

1. It’s not like the Republican Party just started “messing with [her] community” after the election after promising to support trans rights.
2. If the “dealbreaker” for Caitlyn Jenner is “messing with [her] community,” then it’s pretty clear she’s totally cool with Republicans (or any political party) messing with a…
Here’s the deal: yes, I did vote for Trump

This world-weary, bitter hipster style of writing was popular at the end of the 1990s in dying formerly-cutting-edge alternative shopper weeklies like the Village Voice and the Advocate. It never went away, unfortunately, and was amplified in less capable hands by Gawker, and now, still, 20 years hence, Jezebel.
The NK Vice Foreign Minister said in as many words that any US military action will be met with nuclear response.
Now just add “Rescue 911" and “20/20" and my Friday nights from age 11-15 can be complete.
I bet the motorcyclist thinks twice about riding like an asshole too. Two lessons learned the rather hard way.
Just remember, we’re all breathing the same atmosphere as Dolly Parton, so in a way, we’re all royalty.
“Prayer Warrior” you say?
Unfortunately, this will continue. As POC and women and gay people and trans people stand up for themselves as full citizens of this country, entitled white dudes will continue to feel like something is being taken away from them. It is sickening.
Obama already explained why this is such a stupid idea in the first place:
